Donald A. McCain, MD, PhD, FACS, attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York, and received his medical degree in 1991. Furthermore, he conducted his general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York (1991 – 1996). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York (1996 – 1998). Dr. McCain received board certification in general surgery and surgical oncology from the American Board of Surgery. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he maintains professional memberships with the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, the International Society of Gastrointestinal Oncology, the National Pancreas Foundation, and the Society of Surgical Oncology. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from CUNY (1986), a Master of Science degree (1988) and a PhD in molecular biophysics (1989) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
